The table top is steel. The description say its constructed with both aluminum and steel, but did not say which parts. The only aluminum I could find was the housing for the gas knob and igniter. I was hoping the table top was aluminum so it wouldn't rust. The wicker is much more grayer than the picture on-line. Looks great. See attached photo. Thanks to the review from Antwain of Cedar Falls for saying not to tighten the screws until its all put together, that really helped. The chairs are nice and comfortable, and instructions are clear and concise. Assembly time is very consuming and technical level challenging. My biggest disappointment is the foot rest (which is the whole reason I got these chairs). I loveeee this 3-piece outdoor rocker set. The color I chose dark green-brown frame. The rocker chairs rocks smoothly. The cushions are quite thick and give enough support for your rump and back (see pics). There are tabs/ties to secure the cushions to the rocker. They did come with 2 covers which I wasn't aware of when I purchased and was pleased to see the company went the extra mile to add them to this set. One less accessory to buy. We have left them in the rain and repelled the water. The rockers are made of metal so be careful if you're in direct sun with your armrest. The chairs seem to be quite easy to get out of for my hubby and myself with our weary bodies. It's not hard on the knees or too low to the ground for either of us. The table is pretty and looks sturdy. It's not too big, but enough room for a candle, few drinks and a plant. I am very satisfied with this set, and it is an eye grabber to anyone passing by my home. They have room to improve on this one. They look really nice and the finish is exactly what we were looking for, so I added a star, but that's about all of the good things I have to say about it. The build quality is really sub par. The welded nuts aren't even, so you have to force some of the pieces to line up for the bolts to fit. Even then, I didn't get all of the bolts to fit. Some of the holes didn't line up properly. The welds all over were booger welds, and a lot of them were already flaking their finish off. There were spots of rust forming where the finish has already flaked off. The faux wicker isn't finished on the ends properly, so some parts will start coming apart soon. The fire pit feels higher quality, and went together a lot easier. Overall, this doesn't command the price they are charging, and feels like a flat pack item you would find at Big Lots.. Anonymous. We love the set, however; the top cushions on the chairs are too narrow and would not stay in the chair ((falling out).
