Love this chair. It’s a bit pricey but I wanted to try one to check quality and construction once put together. We were pleasantly impressed by the solid wood teak. It is a really well built chair, very stout & heavy. Just what I wanted to start our slow collection of this same style. It’s a modern scandi-style but feels like you’ve owned it for a long time. The clean & simple lines will blend in nicely with our back patio bird bath & flower garden. We got the lighter cushions as the gray wasn’t available, but they look nice & are firm to keep from turning mushy when you sit. Plus the cushions keep the seating a little higher then many other styles you kind of fall into when you sit. I have issues with getting out of low slung chairs, & no one wants to feel like they are sitting on1/2 cushion to be high enough to get out easily. Over all I recommend this to anyone that is willing to slowly build up your patio collection with quality seating. We’re already looking for our next chair to purchase in a few months.. Dawn. UPDATE the manufacturer sent replacement pieces, promptly. I love the set, very sturdy and great quality. The slats on top are not evenly spaced. The support bars under the seat and on the back are bigger than the mortise joints and will not fit in. Can not be assembled as is. The arms, where they attach to the leg and the back are not aligned. The top and the legs came preassembled for the table.
