Great set of solar string lights! They are brighter than some but still not bright enough to cook with at night. The remote does not seem to work. These are the best lights! We do not use all of the functions that are available. We just leave them to the basic on position. They go on automatically just as it gets dark. You can change the timing to go off after a certain amount of time, I just haven't done that yet. They look so pretty and give off just the right amount of light.
