This lamp arrived quickly and with no damage or missing parts. It looks great and I love the dimmer control. I also love that you can angle the shade/light to your desired spot. It's great for reading! As much as this lamp looks great and I love it, I did have 2 issues. 1 - The shade!!! It is so hard to put together! It took me a long time, and I had to keep checking the Wayfair ad's user photos to see how others did it. The instructions on how to build the shade were not very detailed. They were missing key steps. 2 - On the base, there is a nice triangular gold detail, but it moves! So, when I was screwing the lamp to the base, it kept sliding around and now it's all scratched in a circle. (See photo). Such a shame.. Lindsay. New Hamburg, ON. Thu Aug 13 2026

I love how heavy the base is- feels like it will stay upright even around my kids and dog. It was so easy to assemble too- complete with batteries and a lightbulb!
