We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. The built-in drawers hold way more than I expected — clothes, pajamas, extra sheets, and even some toys — which helped keep everything organized without needing another dresser. The bed feels sturdy and safe. The guardrails on the top bunk are solid, and the ladderstairs are stable enough that I don’t worry about them climbing up and down. Once it was fully assembled, there was no wobbling or squeaking. Assembly did take a few hours, so definitely set aside time and have another adult help. Relatively easy install, just took time. Solid construction. There is a metal bar that runs under top bunk, that I purchased pipe foam insulation to cover it as I knew it was just a matter of time before a child hit there head really hard on it. While solid wood, it does indent/mark easily, I have two rambunctious boys who quickly put multiple dents in it and cracked the wood where the ladder attaches by pulling up on the ladder, but probably sonething similar would happen with any bed that we got!. It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. Overall the bed is nice. Seems sturdy and while it took a few hours, it wasn’t too difficult to get together. The drawers do not actually attach to the bed, they just slide in underneath which is not what I expected. There is also a small gap between the drawers and the bottom of the bed.
