These stools are nicer in person. I was hesitant about the limed grey oak. In the picture, the limed stools look very distressed and antiqued but they are just right. They are light enough to move without effort but made well enough to hold up to everyday use. I do hope the seats hold up for a long time. They look great with my newly updated kitchen. They are the perfect "counter height". I am very happy with my purchase so far. They were much more than I wanted to pay for counter stools and I do hope they will last and be worth the price.. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home.
