We love etagere bookcases like this one for their airy designs that make them a platform for showing off and organizing. It's made from metal in a distressed white finish. Plus, it features an open, tiered design with X-shaped accents on the sides for a breezy look with farmhouse appeal. Four shelves give you space to stow and sort everything from your favorite titles to a plant or two. Since this bookcase measures 16" square at the base and gets smaller the higher it gets, it's ideal for slipping into narrow nooks around your home.

First, I have to say I love the overall look. I will be painting the shelves, as the finish is very obviously done by a machine and there is no variation from shelf to shelf, which defeats the patina with age look. The big problem though is the wobble. Nothing seems to be flat, straight or square. I was able to solve the problem by anchoring the pieces together. Still in all, I do love the piece and it's perfect for my needs, manufacturing issues notwithstanding.. Jeani. Alameda, CA. Wed Jun 19 2024

Really nice bookcases - very strong and well-made, which is important to me since they’re going to be loaded with books and a couple of vintage typewriters. There are a couple of scratches in the wood but nothing I can’t fix. I ordered 2 and they arrived within the estimated delivery date and the delivery and setup was perfect. Truly a great experience.. A lovely case that was inspired by 19th-century Italian originals. The square top rests over a series of shelves and low drawers for display and storage. Moldings are accented by gilt detailing with brass hardware. Furniture and upholstery appearances can vary and are not guaranteed due to the inherent variation of all natural materials, including wood color, wood grain, leather, and stone material and finish. Upholstered seat heights may vary up to 1” due to crown variances and foam thickness. Product matches are not guaranteed if ordered at different times.

The bookcase appeared to be a kind of mellow brown tone with the wood grain showing through and in person it’s virtually black with no wood grain showing. Catherine. CA. Sun Dec 20 2020

You can use it for actual storage in any place in your room, improving your organization and showcasing your favorite books/trinkets and other decorative accents for your space, a convenient solution to the problem of stacking.

I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. This will most likely be my last order from Wayfair due to shopping online isn't as expected when you get it in person.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 12 2026

I was skeptical of the price, but purchased it anyways. It turned out to be a sturdy, nice quality bookcase. It was straightforward to put together. It comes in two boxes.
