It's crafted from kiln-dried solid and engineered wood with a weathered finish that lends a rustic vibe. We love the sturdy pedestal base. Seating up to four, it's complete when paired with the chairs of your choice and some pretty table linens.

Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise. I’m super happy with this. I almost didn’t buy it and looked for a long time to buy something else because of the one review that talks about crumbs getting in the crevices and having to vacuum it. I really hate crumbs and all of that but so far, it’s not been a big issue for me whatsoever. I have vacuumed it a couple times but they come right out. The crevice is not so small that they really get stuck in there. It’s beautiful and well worth the prize. I was looking at things that were three times the amount for this level of quality.. Lora. Beautiful table! Easy to assemble with 2 people. (I would definitely recommend 2 people, I don't even know how it would be possible for 1 person...) The finish is not a dark brown/walnut, it has an orange tint to the wood tone. Can seat 6 people comfortably. (I highly doubt you can fit 8 people.) It's almost been a year and the table is still standing. We use it every night for our family of 5, and it's the go to table when guests arrive. HOWEVER, the table is starting to become squeaky. Any time you apply weight to the tabletop, or try to move the table, it squeaks.... LOUDLY. We've lubricated all the screws and joints, placed felt between the joining wood parts, and tightened the screws. It still makes A LOT of noise. We would LOVE to find a remedy to this problem, because we LOVE the table. Constructed from solid 100% rubberwood, this extendable dinner table is sturdy, durable and will look great while doing it! The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? Available in either white and gray, cream and oak or oak. This product is real wood and so it will age, which can result in colour variations.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. This table fit perfect in my smaller dining area. The graining is a warm caramel color in my opinion but it’s not loud just gives it a little somethin somethin! Table is a little darker than the picture, which is ok. The table arrived with some damage. The package arrived torn and retapped on one end - one of the table legs has a good size chip damage at the bottom and one of the pre-drilled screws on the leg does not tighten up…it only keeps pulling out of wood. The table surface has an approximately 6” long scratch on it. And one footpad is missing from leg which probably happened during transit due to the damaged box.. Cindy. San Antonio, TX.
