This clever bench features bobbin turnings on the arms, legs, and stretchers, and a sweetly scalloped apron. The seat is hand-tied rush and the seat divider makes this the perfect "time out" bench when there are cries from the children. Serviceable in an entryway, this bench would also be a happy tableside or at the foot of your bed.

This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy. I love this product if fits the space i bought it for perfectly. It matches my hardwood flooring very well. It was delivered on time and was in good condition. My only complaint is all the nuts and bolts were strewn all over the box and fell out as i unpack it. Not sure how that happened but the bag that was supposed to hold the parts was completely torn. who ever packed this really messed up. I ended up one spring washer short.
