5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. This bed is very sturdy and was pretty easy to put together. Definitely what I was looking for the style. The color is as is shown on the website I think the price could be cheaper I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price that they have it priced at maybe should be listed as 300-400 max since it’s not real wood. Here’s the thing. This bed is good. But it has some quality control issues. When I took it out of the box, the headboard was scratched. That was disappointing. But that’s not all of it. The slats we’re not counter properly. Therefore, the washer would not cover the bolts. So I know at some point it’s going to be a problem. Also, there was one part for the nightstand that was just completely missing a screw hole altogether. They just didn’t bore the hole at all. It was so odd. That being said this is solid wood. I paid the extra 84 to have it assembled professionally . It was definitely worth the money and took him an hour. Instructions do say you need two people but he was able to do it alone. 4 stars bc a corner of headboard came damaged. Customer service took care of it immediately and refunded me 99 bc I didn’t have time to wait for a new one. Disappointing but it’s Actually hidden by bedding. Really happy with my purchase, though wish the head board was higher. It looks different because my mattress is so thick like 12 . Because of this the headboard seems too low and gets hidden.
