I bought this bed due to it not needing a box spring, I tend to prefer not having one, so that is a nice perk. The platform definitely does its job and seems pretty good. I love that it has Velcro to keep everything from sliding around. The bed itself is a small pain to put together but not too too bad. I will say, I included photos because while the bed is very pretty, it really doesnt look a ton like the photo on the listing. this is the second item I have ordered and doesn’t look anything like the pictures. On the thumbnail it looks very posh and lux, but its very basic in real life. Not to say it looks bad, because its still pretty, but don’t be expecting the look of the photo. I do like that the headboard is tall enough that even if you have lots of pillows, theres still room for the headboard to show. It certainly isnt the sturdiest bed lve ever had, its given me a couple of pauses so far but no actual issues. I really like this headboard. The gold accents look amazing and compliment the white nightstand and dresser I currently have. I was not able to use my adjustable bed with it because the footboard was too high so I used the slants that came with the bed and they worked well. This platform bed frame with PU Leather Headboard is a very nice bed frame. My son loves the the different color lighting and remote that comes with the headboard. This bed also comes with two drawers that fit under the bed and have wheels on them. The drawers are not wood but are sturdy and do the job. The top of the headboard has a phone charger and electrical outlet which is very convenient. The only issue we had was a crack that was in the headboard between the outlet and the side of the top piece of the headboard. The crack probably happened during shipping. Wayfair would replace it if we would pack up the bed and shipped the entire thing back. We decided to keep it as it was to keep from all the back and forth. My son still loves the bed.. Ginger.
