I am extremely happy with this bed frame! It arrived well-packaged and all of the parts were clearly labeled, which made assembly much easier than I expected. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. Pictured here is the shell before the mattress. This is a twin-sized frame, but there are still 4 drawers (although this bed is against the wall so no access to the drawers on that side, but it does make for extra storage. I purchased this bed as a replacement for my grandson's last metal framed bed. This is the 3rd frame in less than two years. Even though the description said the weight capacity was much larger than he is, both frames bent easily. We needed to find a wooden frame that would hold up to a teenager's plopping. We hope that, despite the slats and part of the frame are metal, the capacity for this bed was very good, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. I love this bed and everything about it. I have yet to use the under the bed storage by. It is a really nice bed with a wide and short head frame to where I can put more decor around or above. The only thing I did not care for was the assembly of the base frame. I started to put it together and then had to take it apart because of the numbers now it could’ve been user error on my end or the way they printed the pictures in the book, but it was not as easy as I assumed it might be and definitely took me a full day to get it done.
