I really love this bed frame. It is sturdy. Strong, and easy to assemble. It even came with a ratcheting tool which made assembly much faster. I have never encountered this device in ready to assemble furniture. Bravo! My only issue is the placement of the leg in the middle of each sideboard. I kept bashing my foot. I know I should be aware,but I kept doing it over and over. Finally, I replaced the leg with a length of lumber which I stained and placed 8 in inside the sideboard. Problem solved!. David M. FL. This bed is built so beautifully! It’s definitely not a bed you’re building from scratch. Essentially it’s attaching the sideboards to the head and footboard along with screwing the wooden slats onto the center supporting platform and the sideboards. I wish there were screws on both sides of every wooden slat (some are only screwed into the middle platform) but aside from that this is a very sturdy bed for a reasonable price. Put a ring on it. This is the one you've been waiting for. I've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a year or so now. I'd hemmed and hawed for quite some time over which bed frame to throw in this room, nothing quite hit just right. Then, this one popped up. It's simple, timeless, and minimally perfect. It goes great in a room with sloped or low ceilings. It makes a statement, but quietly and modestly. It checks all the boxes and does away with all the unnecessary bells and whistles some beds seem to have. It's lovely with honey oak floors, but truly would fit a variety of different styles. It’s versatile and has a transitional quality to it, making it easy to adapt to any aesthetic. That's a huge deal for anyone who wants to change things up every once in a while. Since it's neutral, it brings unity and cohesion to just about any style. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. It took my husband about a half hour or so to assemble - and most of that was spent unboxing. Before putting it together, I added adhesive felt pads to the bottom legs for easy sliding and protection of wood floors. It's solid and well-engineered. It doesn't make a peep when getting on and off. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if I didn't think so highly of this product.
