The bed is a nice bed, actually built well. The reason I gave it a 4 star is (1) the blue design around the bottom of the bed is deceiving. It is not like that in the picture. There are LED lights that go around the top of the wave, that is what I call it, but it does not shine like that. It just lights up the floor. You don't even see the wave as blue. (2) After it was put together I could not lower the lift frame at all to be able to put on the mattress. I messaged the help line, they were good but wanted me to send a bunch of videos. We managed to get the mattress on top of the lift as it was up in the air and then pulled down, hard and it went down. Quite a struggle but it worked. All in all we are happy with the bed. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. Something to think about when considering whether to pay the $86 for someone to come assemble it for you. The drawers slide gently and align perfectly. They are lined inside with the sturdy pressed wood material and reinforced on the bottom to hold weight. They aren’t wire cages as I have seen in other drawer beds.
