Overall, the bed frame looks very pleasing once assembled and topped with a mattress. Without the mattress, though, it does feel a bit cheap. The frame is made up of metal bars that simply slot into place—there are no screws or fasteners to secure them, so if you shift the bed, the bars can fall out. The upholstered section attaches with Velcro, which makes me question how well it will hold up over time if any pressure is applied to the frame.
