The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The slats have around 7" between them. I had a hard time finding this information when I was looking at the description.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. This frame gave me the style and look I wanted, without having to worry about matching my other bedroom furniture.. Anonymous. Mobile, AL. Thu Oct 22 2026

Damaged parts. UPDATE to original 2 star review: Parts were delivered - instead of a scratched panel, there was a bend on one end of the replacement panel BUT the delivery fellows were very resourceful and accommodating and we are completely satisfied and very happy with this new bed frame now. Thank you, Wayfair, and thank you Ali and your co-worker (sorry I can't remember his name) for your work. I trust Wayfair's products and service - thank you for that. 5 STARS*****. Steve. Union, WA. My husband found it easy to put it together, and completed the build within an hour if that. The storage is great. Does not come with brackets to attach to a headboard so if you want to connect it to a headboard don’t forget to purchase brackets. Otherwise, pretty happy with the purchase. The drawers move easy . For the cost it’s Great!!! Definitely recommend. Nat. Pembroke Pines, FL. Sat Aug 29 2026

I bought this because my mattress needed to be a little higher to be even with my nightstands. I live alone, and it looked like I might be able to deal with these folding foundations on my own. The box they were delivered in was a bit heavy and awkward to get into the house (I wish all large boxes had handles punched into them), but once I did, it was easy enough to maneuver the foundations into place under my existing mattress. Another plus is that they lift the mattress above a one inch lip around the bed's platform, making it quite a bit easier to put clean sheets on. So far, they don't make any noise and solved all the problems I was hoping to solve.. Elaine. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Sep 03 2026

The clean platform silhouette eliminates the need for a box spring, allowing for a simplified, low-profile setup. Plus, the open headboard-free structure frees up wall space for easy customization.

This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026

The head and foot of this bed frame feature a unique arch design that not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also prevents the mattress from sliding. It enables you to maintain a minimalist style without compromising on functionality. With a height from the ground, this bed frame is perfect for taller mattresses or those who prefer their bed lower to the ground. It can accommodate mattress thicknesses ranging from 6 to 12 inches. This feature is especially useful for families with young children as it allows them to easily climb up and down the bed. A great buy! And the low level is a real benefit for my husband, who, in his 90s, has very stiff joints that make it hard to get in and out of a high bed. Also good in case of a fall.
