Bought this chair for my 13 year old son because we kept buying gaming chairs and they weren’t lasting. This chair was a pain to put together some screws didn’t align in the back. You definitely need 2 people to put it together. Also didn’t realize it was a velvet type material but it’s soft and comfortable. The foot rest is a little awkward in the front and my son wasn’t enthused, but once we put this together and saw the foot rest could second as a table on the side due to the rotating mechanics, we were so happy. I wanted a wide seated chair with a firm cushion as I spend a lot of time in it, I did want some sort of back support as I like to sit up straight. I understand what people are saying when they say there is 'no support'. I have to sit all the way back (I'm 5'4") to receive the back support.
