Beautiful light. Very pleasant to look at. Three things to know. The directions are useless. It sits about 1" below the ceiling, not completely flush. At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Really a nice light fixture. Installation was straight forward even though the instructions were absolutely worthless. Some reviews stated that the installation was difficult, aI think they probably were confused by the terminal block used to connect the wiring. They were the screw-down type and really not all that common in the US. But, that's why Google is your friend! The fixture is quite light, l prefit everything first then removed the shade for the wiring- add the shade last. I was able to complete the job without any assistance. It can absolutely be a one person job. The only difficulty was with the decorative nuts for the mounting bolts; the bolts could be a little longer in my opinion. tiffany lamps are sturdily 100% made of stained glass. Not plastic or acrylic. All of the colors are Vibrant and evenly toned when light on. I like the lamp. Need to get a different bulb. It is a bit smaller that I thought - or I should say I thought the leafs hung down more. The other weird thing but not a big deal on other hanging lamps I’ve had there was a chain or way to keep the cord from slipping I tied a knott but there should be a better or more attractive way.
