I bought 4 pairs of these holdbacks for the curtains of my 4 windows in the living and dining area. Have not mounted them yet, but unpacked and inspected the package. We need to drill and anckor each of my 4 pairs. Lots of work ahead. 3 holes on each of the 8 holdbacks makes for 24 holes and anchors!!!! The material ( made in China) seems sturdy, however the depth could be bigger. But they look nice and will go well with my black finials. I love these more than i was expecting. The 23” is the undoubled length of the rope which is a stupid was to measure them. They do the job however as I have 3 50” panels stacked in this photo and am so pleased with the earhty neutral bibe they bring my lux linen curtains and are a decent value for the price.
