Steel wainscoting style option: Rusted - pre-rusted and created with an all-natural, accelerated rust treatment. Because the solution is spray applied, rust is more evenly distributed, and the result is a more even coat of copper rust color that completely covers the entire front side of the panel. Galvalume - new galvanized steel, semi-sheen. No rust or color variation. Antique galvanized - antiqued steel, weathered, flat texture. No rust or color variation. The finish wears with time (can produce white rust with exposure to moisture), will continue to age with exposure, and may scratch (does have normal scratches from manufacturing).

Installing wainscoting can be somewhat tedious, but we eventually succeeded. Unfortunately, I miscalculated the height of the wainscoting, which was the exact same as the wall. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive. Our wall wainscoting kits bring the beauty of authentic flat panel wainscoting, with the ease of a DIY installation. Each kit comes complete with a top and bottom rail, and the appropriate length of stiles that can be trimmed to the height you need for your project. Unlike MDF wainscoting, our PVC wainscoting kits are safe to use in high humidity areas like bathrooms and can be used on the interior or exterior of your home.

This was one of my favorite projects in my new home remodel. I always loved a jewel box powder room and I think it came out FANTASTIC. Easy installation but I had to use a hardcore primary to get a smooth finish. Don't like the smell it leaves behind for a few days but if you want a smooth finish you need it. I love the wall molding but was not easy or at least the way I installed was not easy so I gave it 4 stars. I glued them together first and then painted them the color of my wall. The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall.
