It was easy to add this fan to a location where a porch light was no longer needed. I purchased a 3 way switch and connected inside so that we can change the speed with a wall switch. I did not add any additional wiring, so it does not oscillate. However, it is mounted in a 9x9 ft space, so that is not a problem. It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. Really love our new fan! I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally went for it and I’m so glad I did! Easy to install, great additional lighting, and the fan is small but powerful. I really love how unique it is. The fan blade actually comes off super easy for cleaning, there’s a little cap that unscrews and the blade (1 pc) comes off. This is a fan AND a light. Not sure how I missed that! Remote works great. The LED light adjusts from dim to VERY bright. Would work well for influencers’ back lighting. The fan is spectacular. Nearly silent. Only hear a soft hum at level 6, but otherwise it’s unbelievably quiet! I love that this fan mounts on the wallceiling. 4 stars is for aesthetics. It’s a little chunkybulky looking..
