Bathtub Surround Window Kit

Use the FlexStone Window Sill Trim Kit to frame around windows in a FlexStone tub or shower surround. FlexStone Window Sill Trim is made of the same material as FlexStone panels and adds a complementary, finished look to a FlexStone surround. The kit includes four pieces of 48 in. window sill trim and four corner blocks. The FlexStone Window Sill Trim is intended to be used with FlexStone wall surrounds only.

There were a few hairline cracks in the large pieces of Flexstone but the contractor thinks he can work around those. The glue was a total loss but we purchased some locally for our project.(A piece of cardboard at the tips would have saved the glue)the top of the box was smashed. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

So far, everything looks good. I'm not quite ready to install it, but I unpacked it for inspection. I think it's going to look great in the guest bathroom, far better than a rod and shower curtain. I'm trusting that it's not going to be warped once I'm installing it. For me, I do think I would've preferred it to be gray tinted, but it's not a deal breaker. The packaging was decent. The only issue I saw, and it shows in the one photo, is that on one side of the glass the strips of Styrofoam used to brace and suspend the glass, we're out of place and a few were missing. The center of the glass was therefore not braced, open for damage. So far, I think I lucked out with no damage. I'll know more once it's completely out of the box so I can fully inspect the edges.. The glass features a safety film and an easy-clean nano coating to help with everyday maintenance and reduce water spots and soap buildup. The pivot door design allows convenient entry and exit, while the framed structure provides stable support for daily use. Shower base is not included. If installing this enclosure on an existing or third-party neo-angle shower base, please do not rely only on the base’s nominal 36 in. x 36 in. outside size. The base curb/threshold layout, front angled threshold, and flat mounting surface must match the enclosure requirements. Please refer to the measurement guide image before purchase to confirm compatibility. Shower base, faucet, drain, shower fixtures, and decorative props shown in images are not included.

Shower doors arrived quickly and were packaged well. I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn’t a complete unit with the walls and base. But the doors look nice! We purchased the recommended size base and plan on getting it all installed soon. The project is at the top of the ‘Honey-Do’ list. I will post an update after installation.. Barb. US. Sun Aug 30 2026
