While I love the look of this shelf, the bracket is very lacking and will not hold it level. Most hidden brackets have "arms" that extend out the length of the shelf but this one does not. Therefore, there is very little support and the whole shelf droops in the front. Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Color was accurate too. One thing to note: is is not a solid piece of wood. The one I received appears to be at least two pieces glued together. But, it was a pretty seamless joining so I am happy..
