The Modernist Etagere has four antique brass cubes with glass shelving

This etagere is very well made. Esther. Va Beach, VA. Thu Mar 09 2023

This airy take on an etagere bookcase is defined by the asymmetric back supports that lend a structural silhouette to its frame. Crafted from metal, this bookcase delivers the pared-down, open look of an etagere with its slim frame. Central supports alternate between the front and the back of the shelves, creating a staggered, asymmetric look. And with five shelving tiers, there's plenty of room for books and decor. This slim bookcase is available in two sizes, and both are sized to fit into spaces short on square footage.

This shelf is stunning! From the description, I did not expect it to be so sleek and mid-century modern, but it completely fits the space and is exactly what I was looking for to show my detailed wall behind it. Anonymous. New Orleans, LA. Mon May 04 2026

A five-tiered etagere with a black marble top for each tier and a nickel finished brass frame, this console is the perfect mix of elegance and practicality.

Unlike a traditional bookcase, this stately etagere bookcase has an airy, open silhouette that's super inviting. The frame is made from a series of steel rectangles with a brushed antique gold finish. Four fixed wood shelves made from solid acacia veneers provide a sturdy surface for books, candles, vases, and just about any other accent you can imagine. We love the contrast of the dark walnut finish against the metal frame. This bookcase also comes with a tip-over restraint device for safety, and to help you easily mount it to your wall if desired.

There are a couple of scratches in the wood but nothing I can’t fix. I ordered 2 and they arrived within the estimated delivery date and the delivery and setup was perfect. Truly a great experience.. Steeped in urban industrial vibes, this etagere bookcase features a sleek mixed-material look and an airy, open silhouette we love. The frame is made from steel and is finished in a dark brushed pewter that contrasts the 4 shelves. Each shelf is constructed from reclaimed boat wood collected from old Chinese fishing vessels, so you have a story to tell when your guests give you compliments. We especially love the wood's natural finish, which shows off the wood grain color variation and subtle hints of color from years of use.
