Not sure whether the lot of my chairs were not good or all of the units are like this. The chairs are not so cheap (compared with competition prices) so it could have some more sturdiness and strong acacia wood. Great chairs, putting them together isnt too hard, read the directions( big screws in front) and if you have proper tools to access the tight spots its pretty simple.
