This stoneware dinnerware is really nice. I ordered 3 sets, or service for 12. When I received them, a coffee mug in 2 of the sets was broken. CON There is some minor chipping on the unglazed bottom rings (the part that makes contact with the table) which may not bode well for more fragile dining surfaces if not using a tablecloth or placemat..
