Bahama Shutter Kit

This is a fixed shutter-style product that is modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial grade mill finish aluminum that is powder-coated and will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The powder-coating finishes are offered in black, bronze, copper, and pewter. Each finish has a resistant coating to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent moisture and soil buildup on the frame, and (3) maintain a water-resistant barrier that allows for rain to roll off of the awning. The performance of the awning is durable and can withstand harsh winds and heavy snow. Awntech guarantees quality and ensures that these stationary awnings have a long-lasting design and structure.

Assembly was horrific! We had to cut the slats to fit and some were bent. Not happy with this product.. Grace. Worcester, PA. Wed Jun 19 2019

Enhance your Mirador gazebo or pergola with this tailor-made sliding shutter door. Made from corrosion-resistant aluminum, it can withstand the elements for years. It’s easy to install too, so you can discover more to enjoy in minutes.

Easy to install (make sure your pergola is level, plumb, and square!!! If your patio has a standard grade for proper drainage, you'll need to level the posts with shims first) and makes for a great enclosure to keep out the elements and extend the outdoor season while keeping things bright inside with the louvers open. Only downside is that louvers have to be fully closed flat to be able to slide the doors.. Andy. Lynnwood, WA. Tue Sep 15 2026

Hide the eye sores in your yard such as trash bins or air conditioners with this no-dig Charleston Wood Slat Privacy Screen. This slatted screen will hide the ugly items in your yard and make your lawn the envy of your neighborhood. Crafted from 100% FSC-certified cedar lumber and powder-coated aluminum, this screen looks the same from both sides. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our slatted design is not only aesthetically appealing but also provides for efficient airflow while around air conditioning units. Each kit comes with 2 sections to make a recommended right angle. Additional boxed sets can be purchased if you would like to create a bigger enclosure. Please note individual panels and parts are not for sale.

Shutters are mounted with historically correct operable hardware. Unlike “fixed mounted” shutters, this hardware sets the shutter off from the house and allows the shutter to be closed within the window frame. This adds dimension and an elegant accent to your home.

It has been few years now and this hardware is still holding up. It has been three 2 hurricanes as well!. Jennifer. Longwood, FL. Tue Feb 09 2021

This is not a pergola. This is panel(s) only. 1 panel only for option 1/3 x 10 ft. & 1/3 x 13 ft. , 3 panels for option 10ft. & 13ft. Louvered wall panels are not adjustable, suitable for pergola only.

I love the shutters my only complaint is that a lot of the louvers came damaged with chips, dents and creases and still waiting for a response from manufacture on what they will offer to remedy the issue! Update: they offered a partial refund! I’m satisfied!. Anita. Chicago, IL. Sun Aug 30 2026

Assembly is a breeze, requiring only a power drill and approximately 30 minutes for a freestanding setup or 60 minutes for surface mounting. For surface mounting, simply purchase four 1/4” lag screws (3” length) for wood surfaces or four 1/4” concrete wedge anchors (2 1/4” length) for concrete. Measuring 73.5 inches high and 38 inches wide, this over 6-foot-tall screen offers ample coverage for privacy and style. Each purchase includes one unassembled panel, so you can buy as many as needed to transform your space. To maintain its natural beauty, apply a transparent or semi-transparent exterior stain every six months to preserve the wood’s grain, or opt for a solid stain for a more uniform look.

Urethane Gable Vents shine when it comes to looking like a real wood product without all the maintenance that can come with wood. They are moulded from beautiful designs, like wood products, and come to you factory primed and ready for your paint. The functional option will offer better airflow, however, urethane vents offer the least amount of airflow. Highly recommended for decorative applications.

Love it!! Perfect and great quality.. Portia. New Boston, OH. Sat Sep 05 2026

The shutter shim kit is used with offset strap hinges and New York style hinges. They expand your mounting options and provide more clearance for trim, storm windows, or other obstructions.

Gable vents work to provide ventilation, releasing stagnant air, preventing damage from humidity, and optimizing temperature control. Gable vents are particularly useful during the summer months when hot air rises and is trapped in the attic, where it can transfer itself down through the ceiling and back into the level below, decreasing the effectiveness of air conditioning systems A gable vent is located at the attic area, commonly on the exterior wall where the two planes of a sloping roof join, forming a triangle. The gable can be any symmetrical shape, but the triangle is among the most common. Other vent shapes include rectangles, steeples, circles, and octagons. Gable vents are fitted with horizontal ventilation slats called louvers. You can add a mesh screen to be placed behind the vent. This allows air to circulate while keeping outside elements where they belong. A gable mounted ventilator helps to push air through the louvers. The ventilator removes air from the attic through the use of turbines or fans. The gable ventilator commonly requires no carpentry, as it is mounted on the interior of the wall behind the gable, however, electrical installation is required.
