Bahama Shutter Kit

This is a fixed shutter-style product that is modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial grade mill finish aluminum that is powder-coated and will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The powder-coating finishes are offered in black, bronze, copper, and pewter. Each finish has a resistant coating to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent moisture and soil buildup on the frame, and (3) maintain a water-resistant barrier that allows for rain to roll off of the awning. The performance of the awning is durable and can withstand harsh winds and heavy snow. Awntech guarantees quality and ensures that these stationary awnings have a long-lasting design and structure.

The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. Shutters are mounted with historically correct operable hardware. Unlike “fixed mounted” shutters, this hardware sets the shutter off from the house and allows the shutter to be closed within the window frame. This adds dimension and an elegant accent to your home.

The automatic louver vent opener was designed to automatically control the temperature and provide additional ventilation in all Canopia greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached.
