I expected the fabric to be a little thicker but I’m very pleased with my curtains. Gave me that French cafe feel I was looking for. The navy blue color is spot on. There are two ways to hang them. The second hole allows for an extra inch ruffle at the top. But I used the top one eliminating the extra ruffle because I wanted the full 18 inch coverage on the window.. Susan. Laurinburg, NC. I absolutely love this valance! My only issue is I like to have items that I don't see other people have. When two relatives saw my valance they ordered the same exact thing. I guess it is true about "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".. Vickie. Lancaster, SC. Tue Sep 01 2026

Window tier curtains are made of waffle weave textured plaid fabric, which is sturdy and durable, water repellent and dustproof, stylish and modern. Use the tier curtains to cover the lower portion of windows or use them alone on shorter-length windows. Perfect for your kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, studio, and so on.

The valance did not work for me as the fabric is more like a shiny nylon (shower curtain) type and not suitable for a bedroom. Maybe would be fine in a kitchen. Also the grommet opening that you slide the rod thru was too small to accommodate my curtain rod.. Ann. Tucson, AZ. Sat Aug 16 2025

These café curtains are made from taffeta with a crushed wrinkle look and feel. They are lightweight and allow natural light to flow through.

Nice fabric, well constructed. I might have given a 5 star rating, however I was very disappointed that the ivory color curtains don't look like the picture. The fabric is taffeta which has a nice texture, I think called 'crushed' taffeta. It does have natural creases and shadows. However, unlike the image, there are no fine dark-penciled lines loosely undefined and dispersed across the fabric. My take: looks like an enhanced photo. Unfortunately I chose these particular curtains after a long search to find cloth resembling, say, birch bark, at least something more-so derived from nature. The included photos, of the ivory color curtains, were taken on an overcast day. But, as far as what I was looking for, the appearance is the same no matter the amount of sunlight, time of day, or artificial light from room. As I see it, nothing like the product image. I decided these would do.. Anonymous. Tue Apr 25 2023

I purchased these glasses because the curtains I had ordered I thought came with the valances but when they arrived they did not. After a further searching in the description of the curtains I realized that the valances were supposedly sold separately. after searching for them for quite a while I asked a customer service rep to help me which at that time told me those valances were no longer being so that they were a discontinued item.
