This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. As advertised. Slide in security panel was warped when it arrived and the box was a bit torn in one spot. Not very securely packaged, but I was able to re-form the slide in panel, and make it work. It would be a 5 star rating if it had come with a second panel to go on the outside position which would make it more secure. The aluminum frame is very well designed and fits together nicely.
