This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. Love this canopy so much. I was able to put it together fairly easily but it does require some extra focus when assembling the sliding top shade. As far as daily use, the side shades and retracting top one are amazing. We’ve had some pretty severe storms and as long as the top shade is not open, it’s held up well. I would highly recommend..
