Did have to modify the wall anchoring given the brick wall anchors that are provided. The front panel has more space between the shelving on one side (everything reads level, and the bottom of the front panel has even spacing). I did notice other review photos have the same problem. Comes in 4 boxes, received 2 on one day the other 2 the next day. Really nice set, pretty happy with it. Couple of extras that we are doing to it, the brackets to hold the frame to the wall can be seen when bed is down just going to paint them white to make it less noticeable. The barrel of the hinge for the shelf can be seen when the bed is in the up postion. Definitely need to support the bed frame to the wall and into the studds a must. The wood pattern was just as shown. Received four damaged pieces, (we had to build the bed with the damaged pieces due to company coming) and then take apart to replace damaged pieces. Customer service was efficient. After filling out the damaged item request, replacements arrived quickly with out hassle. The back panels vibrated when moving around on the bed. Overall this is a nice piece of furniture. I'm taking off one star because several of the parts were not labeled and others were not labeled well. In addition, the directions were lacking detail on vital orientation of panels and boards and while the videos of each step provide through QR code were somewhat helpful, they were zoomed out and did not provide the level of detail necessary. This added several hours to the overall installation process as I had to backtrack several times and disassemble. Overall build time was 10-11 hours primarily with one person (directions say some steps require 4 people). 2-3 hours of that time was fixing previous mistakes/missteps. Special note on putting on the pistons on the murphy bed - you have to have the bedframe assembled and in the closed position and access it from the back for it to line up with the bolts (this was not mentioned in directions and couldn't be seen in the video). Amazing value! We looked all around for one of these beds to fit into an extra office/guest room. This was about half the price of other furniture stores and it is a perfect addition to the room. We added a thick mattress cover to make it more plush and some small reading lights in the top underneath so guests will have easy access to a light at night.
