I called to place my order. The representative was very helpful in our discussion about this and similar products as well as the delivery. I needed a different delivery date, she advised me on how to handle; and it worked perfectly. Putting the tables together did take several hours with two of us. We recommend at least two to put them together. We did read the instructions beforehand but did find a couple tasks that we did have to go back to. We recommend that when attaching the lift arm, to cover the opening to the base (taped piece of paper does the trick). This avoids any issue of losing a screw into the opening. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. Trust me you need three people. If you don’t use three people, you may wind up in urgent care with a broken finger. This cabinet is awesome!! Unfortunately my sewing machine with the dust cover doesnt fit on the under side shelf but Ive got in its carrier bag and that fits on top just fine.
