It took me a long time, and I had to keep checking the Wayfair ad's user photos to see how others did it. The instructions on how to build the shade were not very detailed. They were missing key steps. 2 - On the base, there is a nice triangular gold detail, but it moves! This lamp is great. Just what we need for reading in bed without attaching something else to the wall. I really like the adjustable color temperature and dimming capabilities.
