Works excellent! Built it with a solar pump kit (SKU: W120104564 sold by Wayfair) and fountain runs 24/7 and only turns off when water gets low and the pump safety valve turns it off so it doesn’t burn out the motor. When screwing the fountain pieces together let the pieces find their groove on the threads so the fountain stays level and is not lopsided once all together. If converting to solar you will need to pop out the rubber gasket that is in the middle of the bottom tier of the fountain. Split the rubber gasket at the seam and remove the electrical cord for the included pump and replace it with the cord for the solar pump. Use GE 100% Silicone sealant to fill any gaps/ spaces in the center of rubber gasket/ plug, reseal the seam with silicone and spread silicone around the outer edge of the plug/ gasket and put it back in the base, let set for 24 hours before adding water. Beautiful bath, but am now waiting on a replacement because it came broken completely at the neck and had a large chip on the rim. Poorly packed and supported at critical points. The injected foam padding (in silver bag) was SO THIN around the rim of the bath, you could see daylight through it, and offered no protection at all. ***UPDATE*** SECOND one arrived... BROKEN. Poorly packed, AGAIN. Good luck getting one in one piece. Now, after a rep saying I'd get another, I get an email saying my order has been canceled!?? Now, I have no idea what is going on. Works great I have it set up in my chickens pool, they’re a little scared at the moment to go near it.
