I do like the desk. The assembly was not too difficult if you are accustomed to assembling furniture. I spread the assembly out over three days so I could take my time and not feel rushed. It would have been helpful if the “cabinet members” and “drawer runners” had been marked more clearly on each of the individual pieces. I love these sweet writing desk with hutch. It is very solid and well-built and came with good hardware and construction. The listed says it is all MDF, but the base seems solid like wood with a sturdy baked-on enamel paint. I am confident this one is made to last. It is cute too! I think it could easily fit into a bedroom or nook throughout the house for a homework station or family computer desk. It has a smaller footprint, but I honestly think it could work great for both children and adults. The drawer and hutch with cubbies offers some great storage.
