The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

Really great quality. Perfect for my room. I’m really happy with this purchase. The only thing is that the drawers don’t have that high-quality feel when they pull out. But I still absolutely love this desk.. Mary Beth. Portland, OR. Sat Sep 05 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

Top surface of this desk had so many dents which I didn't like so I returned it for refund. For some people this problem may not bother them at all and big desk itself is made of solid wood which is good. It's just a matter of personal preference or taste to buy or not to buy this traditional style credenza desk.. Maxim. Boynton Beach, FL. Sat Oct 03 2026

I am putting 5 stars because of the manufacturer CS and Thoughtfulness. It is also due to the Quality and the beauty of the item. This desk is gorgeous. It is the perfect size at 60" Length. It has nice drawers that are spacious and allow for a standard 8.5"X11" Pad to fit inside. The far left drawer has nice separation for storing smaller items and not allowing them to slide around. The middle and far right allow for larger items. It does come with hardware cabinet knobs, though I changed mine out for some Rejuvenation Unlaquered Brass knobs. The installation was super easy, assembly provided was great, and came with all that was needed. It was wonderful how great it was packed. The drawers are pre assembled, making it super easy . it has a convenient compartment in the back for your wiring USB C & A cords to allow for a cleaner look. I love it. My front leg did come cracked in two areas, where it connects, but the manufacturer is currently in the process of helping which I appreciate . Will add pictures later, it is Gorgeous and so well done- Dont hesitate.... Nicole. Raleigh, NC. Mon Oct 05 2026

Lending a bit of old-world charm, this secretary desk gives you a streamlined spot in your home office or living area to work. Crafted from solid pine wood, it features a rectangular shape with a brown finish. The extendable desktop provides ample room for your laptop, and it reveals a hidden compartment for important documents and files. Two additional drawers above let you tuck away pens, paper clips, and other office supplies. Measuring a mere 28" wide, this desk is a great choice for tight corners and smaller spaces.

Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!. Cheri. Hollister, MO. Sat May 16 2026

This computer desk is a testament to timeless design. Its rich, wooden surface, with a beautiful pattern, exudes warmth and sophistication. The intricately carved, turned legs add a touch of elegance, harking back to classic furniture styles. Spacious enough to accommodate your computer, paperwork, and office essentials, it provides a dedicated workspace. Whether in a home office or study, this desk combines aesthetic appeal with practicality, creating an inviting and productive environment.

I wish I could leave a five star for this desk but its quality does not meet that standard. The legs of the desk are solid wood but the top part is very cheap veneer like material. Considering the price I give it four stars but why they didn’t just make the top of the desk a solid wood is disappointing. It takes about 40-45 minutes to put together because the top of the desk comes in many pieces you have to put together. I’m not using this as an actual desk so it works out fine. However, if you’re looking for everyday use, I would not recommend this desk. It looks cheap and the material is cheap except for the legs. It’s a definite you get what you pay for with this desk. The picture on Wayfair makes it look far nicer than it actually is.. Larissa. Parker Co. Mon Sep 28 2026

Add a touch of vintage-inspired flair with this secretarys desk. This old world desk is perfect for small spaces with its drop down door and multiple compartments that will help you stay organized. You will be able to get school work done, sort mail or just surf the internet in style. The letter sorter can be removed to added writing/art space or it can be used to slide a keyboard in without damaging it. The two ample drawers have plenty of space to store pencils, paints or any other office accessories. Pull up a chair or stool and start letting the creativity flow.

It’s beautiful and well crafted, but a little top-heavy and wobbly. I also didn’t expect the insert to not be attached! Easy fix though to just mount it to the wall.. Rosie. Maryland. Sat Jul 11 2026

It’s a good piece of furniture. Yinet. Tampa, FL. Thu Aug 27 2026

This classic secretary desk has a small design, making it an ideal choice for compact spaces. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, and it rests on ogee-style bracket feet. The finish reveals the wood's grain variation (knots and all) for plenty of French country charm in your living room or bedroom. This desk is crafted with mortise and tenon joinery for a well-made touch. We love that the drawers give you a place to stash papers, pens, and other office supplies, while a drop-down front reveals space for your laptop and additional items. Best of all, no assembly is required, so you don't have to wait to tackle that project.

Love it! It's just what I need. (Could have wished for better delivery service, though. FedEx just left the box on my sidewalk (even though I was home), and there was no way I could move it myself (am a senior). I eventually enlisted the help of a friend plus a neighbor to get the box inside.... and it was about to rain at the time.) But I still love the desk!. Elaine. Winnipeg, MB. Mon Sep 21 2026
