However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. This is a great comforter, especially for the price. It’s very soft. My daughter loves to lie on it and my dogs, (one in particular) don’t want to get out of bed. My last comforter lasted 18 years. The only things that could be better is that I wish it was a few inches wider to cover the mattress and the box spring, and I wish it was the same color on both sides so I could flip it over and use either side..
