Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. I hope someone will reach out to me to make this right. This is not a terribly inexpensive table; this should not be happening. Update: 7/8/26 the replaced table is also chipped and in terrible shape. I would not recommend this table in a daily use environment. Any wiping with a damp towel will cause the finish to chip off.
