The chair itself is exactly what I wanted. Kicking back to recline is easy , doesn't take much and sitting back up is simple. Now I'm barely 5 ft, weight 138lbs. I really do not recommend this chair for tall people or heavy set people. When I lay back my head sits at the top of the chair and my feet hang off the chair. So I can't imagine this chair being comfortable for tall people or bigger people. It is perfect for a small person like myself. But hey I guess if anyone wants to take a chance by all means. The manual recliner mechanism (springs etc.) is very difficult to push to get the feet rest up but literature on recliners say it will loosen up with use….Hopefully. It arrived quickly in one box.
