Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Thu Sep 10 2026

Hand-veneered in rustic oak. The bed is a pleasing statement piece for your bedroom. The Alhambra arch herringbone designed headboard and mirrored herringbone parquetry on the side rails give this bed a heavenly vibe.

LOVE this bed! It is very heavy and solid!! If you have an adjustable base, you may want to use 4-6" risers because as is, it's a little difficult to change sheets and tuck in. Color is accurate.. Allison. Flora, MS. Sat Oct 24 2026
