I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense. The Brinsley ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The taupe color is absolutely beautiful in person. It’s the perfect warm neutral and works beautifully with the rest of our room. The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and the couch feels substantial without looking bulky. Having a home with pets, I needed something that could be comfortable and livable while still looking beautiful. This checks all of those boxes. Assembly was straightforward, but it still took about an hour and a half to complete. The seating surface feels semi‑firm due to the internal spring structure. Adding an extra inch or two of high‑density cold foam would have noticeably improved softness and overall comfort. The edges of the each sofa modules include pre‑drilled holes with metal fixtures that lock the sections together securely and prevent separation. This is a useful design choice however, applying the same connection system to the ottomans would have made alternative sectional layouts much more stable and practical. Overall, the build quality is solid, but if you prefer a sofa you can sink into for extra comfort—especially for lounging or watching TV—this model may not be the best fit.. Ryan. New Jersey. Pros very nice upholstery, great neutral color and texture, absolutely love the wood base to every piece, the pieces stay in place and don’t slide on our carpet, it’s high quality and heavy, the storage ottomans are super nice with really strong hardware, and I love the versatility of moving sections around. Cons the only thing really is that I wish the cushions were a little thickermore substantial. They have stayed a little bit lumpy since we set it up a week ago. I purchased this couch three weeks ago, after assembly we learned that parts were missing. I called and the rep was very nice and understanding. But here I am still no seat cushions.
