The desk is very nice and what I needed for my office. The top is especially nice. I would not have paid the full price for it, but the discounted price was worth it. It took me about four hours to put together by myself however the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I’m not sure if I was sent the right color though. This desk exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a gorgeous farmhouse look that works perfectly in the space. Love this desk! It has been the hub of our command center of our kitchen. It was pretty tedious to put together, but overall, I am so happy with the way it turned out. I will warn that it is super heavy. the top piece alone is like half the weight of the desk. was able to install it by myself just fine, went together quite quickly with a drill. While the bottom could home a pc, I was advised against for gpu performance reasons, but you totally could if you wanted to with the hole for cords in the back. there is a shelf that sits in there that I took out in the picture.. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. I really wanted to give this desk a 4.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. We got it to replace the vanity in my fifteen year old’s room. It had great desktop space for her Chromebook and papers.
