Ordered this in brass after trying three other (more expensive) rods. Matching a rod to rings in brass is harder than it should be. The mechanism is very sturdy. It close enough in color to not bother me with the Better Homes & Gardens Rustproof Stainless Steel Double Easy Glide Shower Hooks, Brass, Set of 12.. Sarah. Falls Church, VA. Fri Apr 10 2026
