This has been a terrible bed frame, my mattress no matter how thin made my bed extremely high. There is a ugly skirt that hid the frame corners and has become hazardous, everyone hits there chins on it, I now removed that bottom frame and am using the back board free standing, you should probably warn people that your bed will be 4 ft above the floor. I love love love my bed! The gold detail is my favorite part. The bed is extremely sturdy! It was very easy to put together but it did take my husband and his buddies to put it together. The only downside was that it didn’t come with instructions. That’s why I’m giving it a 4 star. If it wasn’t for the missing instructions it would get a 5 star!
