We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning. Buying a rug online can be stressful when you’re relying heavily on reviews and customer photos, so I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else. We have kids, a Belgian Malinois and a GSD puppy (plus a cat ha) Durability, appearance, and not immediately showing dirt so I’m not cleaning over and over each hour are priority. We had to get a 9x12 due to the space, and I genuinely do think it’s a beautiful rug. I ended up using a 14” feltrubber backing pad underneath that’s made a big difference. However, had this rug not been on sale when we purchased it, I would have had a hard time justifying the full retail price. It’s a nice-looking rug and has met our needs, but after several weeks of use, I feel the quality is good—not exceptional.
