Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I don’t feel pressured to have to check my meals every 5 minutes since the feature is in place. The party dipper is a hit too! Love love I’m surprised how thick it is and a nice weight not too heavy and not to large. I have all clad pans and this is a nice addition to an everyday pot . I bought it mainly to make rice bc of the width it’s hard to find pot that’s aren’t narrow for rice .This is perfect for it I haven’t made anything else in it yet just rice but seems it’ll be my got too for many dishes .
