Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. I love this desk! It was perhaps not the easiest to put together, but if you have a drill that will speed up the process and I’m also NOT A BUILDER but mine is built perfectly and has been taken apart, moved, and rebuilt wonderfully! I would highly recommend this as a piece for your work from home set up. It’s spacious and fits my two monitors, two laptops, a keyboard, mouse, notepad (plus whatever on the cabinet portion!! I bought this desk a while ago and used it very successfully since. I like the way it’s designed so it can be lowered or raised quite a lot and tilted so it functions like a type of an adjustable easel for me, much better than my old drawing desk.
