All Pleasant Hearth wood burning stove feature a brick lined firebox, chrome handles, and an air wash system that automatically maintains the cleanliness of the glass window. The front-loading solid cast iron door with large ceramic glass viewing area and stainless-steel ash lip makes it easy to refuel with seasoned cord firewood up to 18 inches long.

For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. Then there is the metal sheet on the back that has the serial number on it. How hard would it have been to make a copy of that for the owners/instruction manual?. Richard. Marble Falls, TX. The US Stove US1100E-L is a beautiful air tight plate steel wood burning stove with black wood handle door in a black finish. The US1100E-L stove comes with elegant legs base and can heat up to 1,200 sq. ft. with 68,000 BTUs.? A smooth arch door with air washed ceramic glass allows a magnificent view of the burning fire that will enhance any hearth setting. How it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon start up. Once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three (3) ignition tubes directly above the wood. The result is that you have ignition, or fire, at the bottom and at the top of the wood stove which, in effect, consumes the wood. This is a very efficient method of getting the most energy possible out of the wood that you are burning. This stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA certification guidelines.? The US1100E-L replaces the previous Defender wood stove.

I bought this stove 2 years ago and it heats throughout my entire home (1,240 sqft). Ash drawer doesn't catch anything and I also had to modify the bottom choke. Well worth the money. I will start with Wayfarer customer service once I went up the ladder, I was refunded and item picked up. Even bought in October picked up in end of April. I removed from crate and there were no markings on the stove, no testing information no paperwork. Not even a name on wood burner. The pizza oven was maybe large enough to fit a dessert plate and odd angle. Comes out of Colorado, it is against the law to sell a wood burner in USA that has not been tested. First off, i love this stove cover. Took off a star because of a crushed spot on rail at the end..but honestly, thats more of a shipping lack of care. Fedex has got to be the worst. Box had major holes all over and I doubt wayfair shipped it like that. But it will get many more dents, i am sure. Was relatively simple to attach handles, and was quickly put together and on my stove. I did condition the wood. Fits my range perfectly and gives much needed counter space in a tiny kitchen. I didnt put antislip pads on yet...it did say they were for an electric stove, mine is gas. Ill see over the next few days they are necessary.
