My grandson loves the bed. We, however, have a few misgivings; 1. It took an age to ship. On looking at the tracking records, a bed which originated in Vietnam was shipped from Georgia to California, to Vancouver, then finally to Ontario. It could have been shipped in one truck directly up the I75. There were four boxes approx 100lb in weight each. Surely, there has to be a more environmentally friendly method than this. 2. On putting the bed together, there were two screws missing. I don't think it was a "user error" as my husband is a stickler for following the instructions. Speaking of instructions, the order of the build could have been better. It makes far more sense to build the cupboards behind the lower bed BEFORE you make the bed frame, especially if your building space is limited. 3. The build quality is suspect in some places, yet fine in others. There was also a piece of wood which split immediately because of a knot in the wood. Some pieces were a bit marked or bashed on corners. Mind you, after the journey it took, that's not surprising! Despite these issues, the bed is still a success as we could effect a repair on the broken piece and the two missing screws don't look to have too much of a detrimental effect. We could have tried to contact the seller for replacements but but being mid-build in a child's bedroom, this wasn't really a viable option. As I say, the grandson is thrilled with the bunk beds, and it works for the space and purpose it was intended, but I think it was an awful lot of money for the overall quality.. Deb. Chatham, ON. Great quality! The good news is I put the bed together by myself. The bad news is that working on it by myself took about 7 hours to complete. The frame is solid the stairs are great, but the instructions while detailed left a little to be desired. The diagrams were on the smaller side and it did not detail if a part had to go on a certain way. The good news is on the occasion I made an error it was easy to correct. My daughter loves this bed. I would put myself through the 7hour build again great bed.. Brittany. Trenton, MI. Mon Sep 14 2026

We bought this for our soon to be 7 yr old, it’s perfect for her and it’ll be able to grow with her needs! It was pretty easy to assemble I did most of it myself. I the only issue I had was the directions, they were easy to follow but on one step I did place some poles the wrong way and it didn’t notice until several steps later. It was easy to correct but it’s hard to get it right when you’re going just off pictures.. Angela. Sun Sep 27 2026

This is one of the worst beds we’ve purchased. We hated enough that after my husband built it with the terrible instructions he immediately took it all apart. For the price and effort Of having to build it you can get a better set at a furniture store and they build it for you. We also took a big hit to return it as they charged a large shipping fee. You can see all of the nail holes, it feels like very cheap wood. Just overall not something we would have kept or would ever recommend.. Iris. Mon Oct 12 2026

Featuring sturdy metal construction, it includes practical storage stairs, built-in shelves, and a convenient bookshelf, offering both organization and functionality. Ideal for creating a versatile sleeping and study area, this black loft bed combines modern design with smart storage for small or shared spaces.

This bed frame feels very unstable for an adult. I weigh about 130lbs and it shakes every time I get on it. I tighted all the screws and used the mounting to zip tie it to the wall, but that broke after just a few weeks so I had to order a replacement wall mount. It also came with several scratches on different parts of the frame. The wavy wooden edge to the frame is made from a material that is scratchy so when I bump against it, it irritates my skin. The wood material for the steps is flimsy and noticibly moves when I step on them. This bed seems made for someone a lot lighter than me, not for an adult.. Julia. Mon May 18 2026
