I love the look - that said, you get what you pay for. It is not solid wood, but it has a solid presence. This is the brown tone. The faux wood is more of an ash brown than warm brown. The biggest disappointment is that the headboard is unfinished in the back. It is not an issue unless you have a plan of having the bed in the middle of the room with the back of the bee exposed. The other reviews noted it was a challenge to assemble so we opted for Wayfair to arrange assembly. (That move was worrh every penny!!!) The bed arrived in two massive rectangular boxes weighing 85 and 75 pounds. The assembly person moved the awkward to handle boxes up two flights of stairs and that itself was valuable! The build took about 2 hours. Best aspect of the bed besides the look (which is what I wanted) is that it is great for our dog that had a hard time jumping on our taller bed. I love the LED lights they have all different settings. I just put them on the shuffle for the video to show the different colors that can be used. It is a very sturdy bed frame and took me about two and a half hours to put together. Overall, I like the bed frame the wood is kind of cheap, but it will do the job. Be careful when installing the LED lights on the wood because they stick to it, and you have to make sure you have them in the right spot for them to be correctly placed. The package includes all necessary tools, and the installation instructions are clear and detailed, allowing you to effortlessly create a comfortable and practical bedroom space.

Very nice bed, the only downside is the mattress lays flat (there is no lip on the edge) so the mattress slides very easily. Looking to possibly install something to keep it from moving.
